The OECD presents high-level principles of long-term investment financing by institutional investors

The OECD has proposed a set of general recommendations, called the high-level principles to promote long-term investment and improve the functioning of markets. There are eight principles in total, addressing regulatory and institutional impediments to long-term investment by institutional investors. The principles themselves also aim to avoid interventions that may distort the proper functioning of markets.
