As a result of consultations following its decision to transfer consumer credit regulation to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in April 2013, the Government will be introducing a programme of rebates to consumer credit license holders to reflect the closure of the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) regime at 31 March 2014. The rebate is designed to ensure that the cost of transfer is proportionate.
