Melbourne man convicted on charges of managing corporation while disqualified

Mr Simon Charles Clarke has been convicted in the Heidelberg Magistrates Court after pleading guilty to two charges of managing a corporation while disqualified. In April 2009, Mr Clarke was fined and convicted of a contravention of the former Trade Practices Act 1974. As a result, Mr Clarke was automatically disqualified from managing a corporation for a period of five years. While disqualified, Mr Clarke managed Melbourne-based company Hair Choice Pty Ltd from 11 November 2009 to 3 November 2010. Mr Clarke was fined $3,000 and ordered to perform a community correction order for 24 months.
