The Basel Committee has published the results of its Basel III monitoring exercise, using data as at December 2012. A total of 223 banks participated in the current study, comprising 101 large internationally active, or Group 1, banks. The Committee monitors the impact of the Basel III reforms in order to ascertain the impact of the framework on banks.
