As part of its effort on improving and enhancing corporate governance by the Tokyo Stock Exchange, a series of white papers on corporate governance has been issued every other year since 2007.  The 2011 White Paper compiles the approach of companies listed on its market toward enhancing corporate governance and reports the progress on various aspects of the initiative from the perspective of shareholder protection on par with international standards
